Abstract
The hypertext has been characterized for its openness, interactivity and autonomy. However, its use and potential benefits on educational experiences and materials are still being studied. In order to make a contribution to this line of study, we intend to characterize and understand the potentialities and limitations of hypertext in educational experiences, particularly those aimed at training in reading and academic writing. Thus, from a purely qualitative approach and following ground theory guidelines, we analyze the hypertext in an educational experience with Facebook, developed in the framework of a workshop destined to academic reading and writing. We outline some provisory conclusions about the expressive possibilities of digital media.
