Abstract
The article analyzes the prospect of Ukraine's trade relations with the most developed countries of East Africa, which is a sufficiently large market for Ukrainian enterprises, using the method of analysis of the country's development intensity (used by the relative magnitude of dynamics) and the adapted model of Rash. The dynamics of export-import operations of Ukraine with the countries of Africa over the past 6 years has been analyzed.
Proposals on further trade and choice of potential partners from the economically developed countries of Africa are given. During the study, for the first time, proposals were made to use the indicators of the dynamic development of the Eastern countries and adapted the model of Rash to the analysis of foreign trade relations. The study assessed the attractiveness of African commodity importers on the basis of methods: the analysis of country development indicators (used by relative magnitude of dynamics) and the adapted model of Rash (latent variables estimation), which allowed analyzing the stability and capacity of African markets in two ways. Determined which countries in Africa are beneficial for Ukraine to conduct trade policy with them.
