The concept of text readability

The concept of readability of text in modern paralinguistics is important, since text is an information carrier, and the more convenient the information carrier, the easier it is to extract necessary data from it. In the system of cognitive linguistics special attention is paid to the text as a key object of the verbal component of human thought. The variety of texts from the point of view of stylistics and semantics creates difficulties with the perception of information, including the concept of readability, which makes it easier to read and assimilate individual texts. In the article we talked about readability, defined the main polygraphic components of the text and the considered readability indices, as well as the overall meaning of this concept.
