Abstract
In the state of Jalisco, Mexico, there are two indigenous groups inhabiting the are, Wixarika or Huichol and the Nahuatl community, there are also lots of Indian migrant populations in urban areas of the state. In recent years, indigenous youth have joined the University of Guadalajara to study secondary and higher education.
In this article I will present some results of the research that I did in my thesis, where I analyze which factors affect the process of use and appropriation of information and communication technologies (ICT) for indigenous students at the University of Guadalajara.
