Abstract
This study is a critical edition of first chapter of the book Nakdu al-efkar fî red al-enzar which is related to the ‘Quran’ written by famous Hanafi jurist Molla Husrev known as logicist and linguist as well. There are six chapters in the book: the Quran, life of the prophet, fiqh, usul al-fiqh, rhetoric, and logic. In this book, first Alauddin Ali b. Musa al-Rûmî asks ten questions and then Siracüddin al-Tawqîî answers his questions, finally Molla Hüsrev evaluate their point of views and adds his own opinions. The book, which is one of the best examples of Muhakamat (Adjudications), is important since it reflects the Molla Husrev’s capability of related sciences and his power of expression.
