DISPLAYING THE PROHIBITION’S PRINCIPLE OF DISCRIMINATION’S DISPLAYING AGAINST PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE UKRAINE’S LEGISLATION

Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the peculiarities of displaying the principle of the prohibition of discrimination in the national legislation of Ukraine regarding persons with disabilities. The article analyzes the international legal acts in order to find out the features of terminology and the application of the norms-principles on the prohibition of discrimination against persons with disabilities and to identify the possible impact of international norms of prohibitions on national legislation. The author also notes that the general prohibition of discrimination applies to persons with disabilities as one of the categories of the population, however, the national legislation of Ukraine defines discrimination against persons with disabilities with a number of shortcomings in comparison with international documents and needs to be changed in order to expand the vectors of state social policy development Ukraine on Disabled Persons in the Context of European Integration. At the same time, the author draws attention to the need to comply with ratified international instruments in order to improve national legislation.
