IMPLEMENTATION OF TRADING SERVICES STANDARDS AS A MEANS OF RETAIL TRADE ENTERPRISES’ COMPETITIVENESS INCREASE

Abstract
The process of development and implementation of corporate (internal) trade services standards as of an effective means of increasing of retail trade enterprises' competitiveness is described in the article. The essence of trade service is considered and four levels are distinguished in its structure: basic, real, additional and trade service in the broad sense. The main requirements for the quality of trade services are set: social purpose, functional compliance, ergonomics, aesthetics, technologicity, safety and environmental protection. The factors on which the list of trade services provided by the enterprise will depend is determined. On the base on the disclosure of the trade service essence as of a special form of product, which has a complex structure and a wide range of quality requirements, the process of its standardization is defined as complex. It is proposed to standardize in three directions: standardization of work with assortment, standardization of personnel work; standardization of service process. Three stages of the trade services standardization process are highlighted: preparatory, development of documentary support, implementation. A list and content of internal documents-standards, which are expedient to be drawn up in the form of methodological recommendations, are proposed at the stage of development of documentary support. At the stage of the standards implementation it is proposed to conduct a preparatory phase, which consists of procedures: optimizing the organizational structure of the enterprise, harmonizing the staff list with the optimized organizational structure, coordinating of job descriptions with the staff list. The process of the development and implementation of trade service standards organizing, which is proposed in the article, can be used to implement other standards at trade enterprises of different forms of ownership and all organizational and legal forms.
