Abstract

In the article author tries to find out what ideal of unified school was imagined in the Spanish pedagogical discourse of the first third of 20th century. It is shown that the Spanish concept of unified school (L. Luzuriaga, M. Domingo, M. de Maeztu, L. de Zulueta and others) provided the wide program of education reforming, approval of new methodology for the social and educational process, real change of traditional school and its transformation into new, democratic school, value-oriented public solidarity and social consolidation.
