OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST IN THE CONTEXT OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE SILK ROAD

The strategy of the economic Silk Road and planning of territories of priority development promoted bi- lateral cooperation between Russia and China. On this background, in this article th e main factors, which have arisen in the real east cross - border economic cooperation between China and Russia, are analyzed. The existing issues for regional complex development are: external pressure and shortage of immanent development driving forces; th e rationality of eco- nomic development is in question; lack of financial resources and labors; legislative vacuums and disagreements of politi- cal policy. Also in this paper it is estimated how to avoid risk for both parties, at prerequisites mutual benefit, and also the suggestions for expansion of bilateral or multilateral cooperation are given.
