Abstract

The article describes the approaches of well - known Russian philosopher V.G. Lysenko to the analy- sis of problems of direct and indirect perception in Buddhist hetuvidyā. The aspects of consideration of this issue in t he treatises by Dignaga, Prasastapada, Dharmakirti, Vasubandhu and comments by Dharmottara. The logic of identifying of the main differences in the consideration of Savikalpa and Nirvikalpa nature by Prasastapada and Dignaga in V.G. Lysenko's investigatio ns is traced. An attempt of comparative analysis of approaches to interpretation the percep- tion issues by F.I. Shcherbatsky and V. G. Lysenko and estimation the contribution of V.G. Lysenko in the study of the problems of Buddhism in Russia is made.
