Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the effect of ozone therapy on clinical parameters and the sta- tus of immune state in children with atopic dermatitis and concomitant allergic rhinitis. The material and methods . The study included 60 children aged 5 - 10 years with widespread moderate atopic dermatitis and concomitant moderate persistent allergic rhinitis, which were divided into two groups depending on t he therapy. The first group of patients (n = 30) received complex standard treatment, the second group of patients (n = 30) received complex therapy in com- bination with ozone therapy. The patients were studied in clinical characteristics, the content of l ymphocyte populations and subpopulations in blood, immunoglobulins and circulating immune complexes in blood serum - the throat of blood, phagocytosis indices. The results. In the first group of patients with atopic dermatitis and concomitant allergic rhinit is, treated with complex conventional therapy, there is complete, but short - term clinical remission, at which time changes of an immune state parameters remained. The second group of patients with atopic dermatitis and concomitant allergic rhinitis who rec eived integrated treatment in combination with ozone therapy, showed a more rapid long - term clinical remission, at which time the normalization of most indicators of immune state was observed.
