CATEGORICAL SYSTEM OF GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY

The article considers the problems of selection the basic categories of psychology and major psycho- logical concepts, which could be the categories of General Psychology. The concepts of " psyche ", "me ntal phenome- non", "mental reflection", "mental process" and "subject", "subjectivity", "a subjective image", "adequacy of a subjec- tive image" and "communication as process" are offered as basic categories of psychology. The psychological concepts making th e systems of categories of mental processes, mental states and the personality are considered. The scientific definition of each concept is specified and existing semantic relations are graphically demonstrated
