Abstract

The article deals with the features of the extra - curricular activity in geography. The forms and main directions of extra - curricular work on geography are considered. The development of cognitive interest to geography on the basis of extra - curricular work is provided with attraction of entertaining sources, acquaintance to the most important achievements of science, excursions in the nature. The extra - curricular work on geography is based on voluntariness, activity, independent activity of pupils.
