Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the philosophical and epistemological concepts of legal responsibility principle in the activities of the national police force. It is indicated that social responsibility should be given particular importance in the reform of the civil service employees of law enforcement bodies. The responsibility can be understood as a form of control over the exercise of power and as one of the guarantees of the efficiency of the civil service practice. As an outcome also focused on the development of society, depending on the level of professional competence of civil servants, including the national police, as they are the main actors of social control.
