FORMING THE CADETS’ MOTIVATIONAL COMPETENCE AT THE LESSONS OF ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

The problem of forming the motivational competence of cadets' at the lessons of English for Professional Communication (EPC), at the highest military educational establishments was investigated in the article. The concepts «motivation» and «motivational competence», components and types of motivation were considered in the concept of studying EPC. Much attention was given to practical ways of activating cadets' motivational and cognitive activity at the lessons and during self-studying a foreign language. Based on consideration of alternative forms of education, visual resources and informational computer technologies, it was found that new technologies are the efficient and effective way to motivate and heighten interest. Creating the «situations of success» for motivation and productivity increase during studies was separately considered in the article.
