MULTIMEDIA LONGREAD: NARRATIVE TECHNIQUE AND ONLINE JOURNALISM FORMAT

This article covers the multimedia longreads or multimedia story as a new online journalism format. This new publications' form in internet is a longer article with larger amount of audiovisual, graphic and interactive content. In Russian media landscape longreads are compared with the Soviet tradition of tolstyj žurnal (thick journals or literary magazines). Researches talk about the development of new narrative techniques and a new form of so-called literary journalism.
