Abstract
The article considers the theoretical aspects of studying of the person of younger pupils from the perspective of the learning activities subject. The main stages of pilot study focused on the development of initiative of younger school age children are presented. The efficiency of the carried-out work is proved. The application of research results in teaching practice will have a positive impact on the development of fundamental academic activities of students of primary level of schooling.
