Abstract
A volumetric method for designing compositions of asphalt concrete mixtures Superpave is considered. The features of asphalt-concrete mixtures used in Russia are described. Compaction of various mixtures is compared in comparison with the mixtures obtained by the three-dimensional method of designing Superpave compositions. The description of the Superpave system features is given.
