OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH THE PLICA SYNDROME IN THE KNEE JOINT

The article summarizes 10-years experience in the use of the knee joint arthroscopy in the Department of traumatology and orthopedics of Children's Regional Clinical Hospital. The issue of treatment of children with hypertrophy of the mediopatellar plica, mucosal and abnormal suprapatellar plica is considered. It is shown that pathology of internal plicas in children of different age groups is treated only by surgical treatment, namely arthroscopic extirpation, and the best way to treat is cold-plasma ablation of tissues.
