SOCIAL - PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF GENERAL MUSIC EDUCATION

The article is devoted to the analysis of social - psychological features of the development of general music education. The Music art as cultural phenomena in artistic image reflects not only public life (social position), but also it participates in this processes, impacts on society life and is adjusted by society. Therefore, music as harmonious and indivisible part of society is social phenomenon due to its origin, spiritual value, structure, form and methods of the action. Nowadays, there was formed wide music industry and it quickly develops in Uzbekistan. There are a lot of musical works, which are very diverse in form and subject on the music market. The number of people creating, processing music and creating vivid musical works is increasing. In the repertoire of the works listened to by young people, music written at a high artistic level is relatively unpopular and this is the reason that young people do not realize the artistic and socio - aesthetic value of true highly artistic music. It may have a negative impact on the development of rich heritage. Therefore, there is a need to study the socio - psychological characteristics of young people. The article shows some results of experimental works and conclusions on own experience of pedagogical work. The diagnostic techniques that help to assess the overall level of students ' musical development are presented.
