Effectiveness of auriculopuncture in the control of essential hypertension

Abstract
An experimental case control study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of auriculopuncture in the control of Essential Hypertension in CMF No. 2 of the Emilio Daudinot Bueno Polyclinic of the Guantánamo Province in the period of June-December. 2016. The universe consisted of 186 hypertensive patients, of whom 92 patients were randomly selected with essential hypertension and gave their consent to participate in the study. Two groups were formed: one study and one control, each with 46 patients. Variables (age, sex, risk factors, symptomatology before and after treatment, evolution at the end of treatment. The primary data was obtained from clinical records and treatment cards; stress was the obvious risk factor in all the studied group that was controlled at the end of the treatment with auriculopuncture. Recommendations was given by researchers.
