Abstract
The article deals with the features of the distribution of the water vole, root vole, the marmot bobac, as well as the competitive relationships of the tolai-hare, the white-hare, the grey-hare, and the adaptive adaptations of the r. Genus Lepus to live in arid conditions. The materials of air mapping of wetland vegetation along the route of the canal named after Kanysh Satpayev are presented.
