STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CIRCLE AS A METHOD OF

Research work of students is one of the main directions in the process of teaching, contributing to the development of the trainee's professional qualities. The scientific student of a medical higher education institution, as a rule, is the student scientific circle, where the student acquires the first experience of research, analytical, creative work, combining the possibilities of practical application of theoretical knowledge. Student scientific circle of the Department of Children's Diseases (and later pediatrics) Ryazan State Medical University has more than 60 years of history. The article contains the generalized experience of the student scientific circle(SSC) of the Department of Childhood Illnesses. Historical excursion is given, main directions of activity, forms and methods of work, achievements and prospects of the student scientific circle are formulated as an integral unit of the scientific society of students and young scientists necessary for the training of a doctor in the pediatric specialty. The results of the individual pedagogical approach to work with students were the choice of pediatrician by many trainees, the fulfillment of scientific and, subsequently, dissertational research, the practical medical and organizational and managerial activities of former circles in different regions of the Russian Federation and abroad. SSC in a medical university is a form of upbringing, education, training, allowing more individual, taking into account its interests, to approach the student. The result of students studying literature, in preparation for speeches, is the development of Russian, international scientific and practical potential in various fields of pediatrics. There is an experience of a brief and concrete theoretical presentation, a report of the patient. Search, research work of the student can be the beginning of the scientific activity of the future doctor. Until now, the student circle of the Department of Childhood Illnesses of RyazSMU is a school for the training of pediatric staff, which preserves and develops the best traditions of Russian pediatrics.
