Level of knowledge acquired by students in Natural and Traditional Medicine

Abstract
A descriptive study was conducted at the University of Medical Science in the 2012- 2013 course, in order to analyze the level of knowledge achieved by sophomores medicine on Natural and Traditional Medicine in Morphophysiology subject V. The universe what was the total enrollment of second-year medical Guantanamo municipality, the sample was composed of 329 students, all presenting to call for regular review. Questions of practical and theoretical knowledge containing regular review of MNT were reviewed, data were collected on forms. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize the information and express the results in tables. Students showed a high mastery in the ability to identify and recognize plants and fruits used to improve the function of blood and vascular systems.
