The legal nature of territorial communities in foreign countries

The article is devoted the main modern scientific approaches to the definition of the place thr territorial collectives in the system of organization of power in the localities, examines the classical concepts of local self-government, as well as foreign experience of its organization, describes the features of the Ukrainian and Russian models of local self-government, as well as the range of issues that territorial collectives on the ground on the example of individual states.
