Abstract
An educational intervention is applied to enhance knowledge about STIs at Policlinic "Asdrúbal López Vázquez" during May 2013 -2014. The universe is compound by 84 adolescents between 14 and 15 years old. Knowledge of adolescents about sexually transmitted infections, illness, complications, behaviors to avoid and sources for the information: The following variables were studied. The results obtained from the surveys are represented in tables of distribution and frequency. After surgery was modified the level of knowledge among adolescents on the subject, with great success, obtaining a satisfactory change in the thinking and acting of these with respect to these conditions.
