Abstract
Creation of lines of silkworm with thin cocoon filament from breeds of Chinese 108, Ya-120 is possible by carrying out selection on granularity of cocoon cover. The cocoons with the greatest number of buttons on 1 sm2 are used in cross breeding for this purpose.
