PECULIARITIES OF THE IMAGE OF SETTLEMENTS BY DRAWING UP THE TOPOGRAPHIC MAP ON A SCALE OF 1: 1000000 IN THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

This article is deals with the issue of generalization of settlements during creation of the map on a scale of 1: 1 000 000 and more small, taking into account density of population of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By drawing up topographic maps settlements are one of basic elements, subject to obligatory display. In the article authors suggest the methods of selection of settlements by drawing up maps taking into account feature of an arrangement them in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
