Abstract

The article discusses the introduction of ideas and principles of fairness in public life in Uzbekistan in the course of ongoing reforms implemented within the framework of the Strategy for Action in the five priority areas of the country's development in 2017–2021. It was noted that Uzbekistan is actively implementing the pri- orities of the Strategy of Action, consciously goes to resolute liberal reforms, is on the way of liberalization of political, economic, social, spiritual and other spheres, the formation of an equitable civil society. It is stated that the establishment of the principles of justice, democracy, rule of law and law in the life of society, ensuring jus- tice of justice and the adoption of fair laws, full protection of the rights of citizens, social justice, the implemen- tation of noble ideas that «not the people should serve the state bodies, and state bodies should serve the people «- are core ideas and directions of ongoing reforms. Moreover, the population of the country is guided by such noble ideas as «today it is impossible to live the old way», «the time itself demands taking decisive measures to resolve the problems and large-scale tasks that have accumulated in all spheres of society and state life», «if we do not do it ourselves, no one will not do it for us «and» we will build our future ourselves». It is shown that the philosophy, values and tasks of these reforms are fully in tune with the ideas of a just society and fair govern- ment of many scholars, thinkers and statesmen of the East, in particular Abu Ali Hasan Ibn Tusiy- Nizomulmulka, Yusuf Balasagunsky, Abu Rayhon Biruni, Abu Nasr Farobi, Alisher Navoi, Amir Timur and others
