STRUCTURES AND COLOR SOLUTIONS OF THE ORNAMENTAL DECOR COMPOSITIONS IN RELIGIOUS ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS

Artistic designs, epigraphic inscriptions, decor-color solutions and ornaments of architectural monu- ments attract attention by making magnificence on the surfaces they applied. It is also important to use the laws of harmony, symmetry, shaping and golden ratio proportionality in the decor solutions of religious architectural buildings accurately. For this purpose, compositional structure and color solutions of various ornaments applied in decor soltutions of Bibiheybat, Mirmovsum Agha and Heydar mosques is the main purpose of the article. Architecture is a unity of structure and artistic design. Looking at the history of architecture it becomes clear that the architectural design is used both decorative and constructive. One of the distinguishing features that differs religious architectural buildings from other architectural examples is decor and color solutions used in their ar- chitectural design.
