Abstract
In this work, a fuzzy logic-based modeling of classic spring mass damper system was done. At first a fuzzy logic set was developed taking velocity and displacement as input and force was calculated for forced damped vibration control. Fuzzy system was a Mamdani system where force, velocity and displacement was fuzzified into five set, four of which is right angled and central set ‘Z' was taken as isosceles triangle. Finally, a Fuzzy logic based adaptive robust controller was developed in MATLAB Simulink and simulation was performed for various cases and system behavior was experimented and studied under various differing parameters.
