EVALUATION OF LAND, WATER RESOURCES & MACHINERY MANAGEMENT IN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY: A MODEL STUDY

Abstract
Construction project can be completed within the time & cost only if the resources are surplus in order to get the sources we need to do the perfect planning and scheduling to complete the project within the time. The good project management in construction industry must pursue the utilization of material, water, facilities & equipment. The ultimate aim of the project is to utilization of minimum resources and achieves success or profit and completion of project within the time. The savings in resources can be gained if the effective construction methodology and planning was managed equally. In most of the cases only poor planning and controlling of resources drags the project in to crisis. Today's market demands not only for cheaper products and services but also for better products and services. The construction company faces a lot of problems like duration, cost, materials, quality etc, depending on the situations they vary. In order to complete a project lot of people need to work starting from the labour to the owners. The resource management plays a lead role in the success of the project. This paper describes and finds issues in resource management in construction projects and also taken many opinions of supervisors, students, site engineers, construction managers. The gathered opinions from the questionnaire survey is analysed by AHP model and developed the importance of each alternative derives from the issue. from this the employees of construction projects will find the solutions for different issues and helps in usage of land and water resources and ultimate use of machinery which helps in decrease the time and cost of the project.
