DESIGN OF A PENTAGONAL MICROSTRIP ANTENNA USING FDTD METHOD FOR WI-FI APPLICATION

Abstract
T he proposed antenna is formed by a patch pentagonal antenna, built on ???????? =1.07. pentagonal microstrip antenna working to coaxial feed at 5.8GHz .and increase in bandwidth is 9.9%. The pentagonal patch were designed considering them as equivalents with the corresponding circular resonators. Where calculate the bandwidth and directivity of the proposed antenna for use in Wi-Fi application, the simulations are realized using MATLAB, software based on the finite difference in time domain (FDTD).
