ENSURING UNIFORMITY OF PLOWING DEPTH

In the article on the example of the mounted plough, the matter of ensuring specified depth of plowing and its uniformity is investigated theoretically. Studies show that specified depth of plowing and its required uniformity are ensured mainly through the right choice of vertical distance from the reference planes of ploughs to their lower connecting points. It is discovered that, in order to ensure the specified depth of plowing and its required uniformity, i.e. for provision of the specified depth constancy, vertical distance from the reference plane to the lower connecting points of four-furrow ploughs, aggregated with wheel agrogenic tractors of class 3-4, widely used in agricultural production in the Republic, shall be within the range of 71-77 cm.
