THE STRUCTURE OF THE MACROCONCEPT «PRESIDENT» (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE LANGUAGE CONSCIOSNESS OF NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS)

The research is devoted to the study of structure of macro concept «president» in linguistic conscious- ness of English speakers. There have been also considered positions and arguments of researchers involved in concepts, macro concepts and linguistic consciousness. The paper defines the differences between concept and macro concept. The special attention is given to the stimulus words of macro concept «president» and based on the method of associative experiment we made comparative analysis of associative fields of macro concept «president»
