Abstract
Inspection of the scene is considered in the article from the standpoint of moral requirements. The norms of ethics that the investigator must observe during the inspection of the scene of the incident, as well as moral qualities necessary for the investigator in the production of the investigative action in question are noted. Ethical and legal prohibitions and regulations that are necessary to comply with when inspecting the scene of an incident are identified. The importance of conscientiousness, impartiality, justice, humanity and some other mor- al qualities of the investigator, who inspects the scene of the incident, is noted
