Abstract
Sub Das Samin upstream is the most vulnerable areas of natural disasters one of them landslides, because by the dynamics of movement of the land, Factor: (1) heavy rain accompanied by strong winds; (2) parent material of ash / tuff volcanic, in sloping area (choppy relief to mountainous); (3) around the watershed (DAS); (4) frequent erosion, flooding and landslides; (5) land use is not in accordance with the rules of soil conservation; (6) many diversion of agricultural land into nonagricultural land; (7) many settlements; (8) socioeconomic conditions and the people's IPTEKS are still limited and the weakness of the existing institutions; (9) is still a disputed area for the management of 26 government (central & district) and private agencies; (10) early February 2014 affected by volcanic ash pile of Kelud and throughout the year 2014 & 2015 until 2016 still also occur landslides, erosion and flooding. The purpose of this research is to know the type of landslide, landslide vulnerability, soil damage and landslide impact on the environment through morphological identification of landslide prone areas along the Sub-Watershed Samin Upstream of Karanganyar District that can be used for consideration of early mitigation model. The research method is explorative that is direct observation in the field (survey / field observation, surface description and soil profile and sampling, laboratory analysis 1 June 2016 until 31 December 2016. After survey and field description, the activity selanjutnay is analysis about: 1. Geomorphology (characteristics of geological conditions including slope angle, rock type, rock name, stratigraphy and geological structure), 2. Soil profile (weathering rate and rock characteristics) 3. Preparation of mitigation model The result of morphological identification of agricultural land based on landslide type in Samin Sub-Basin area include: 1) Jatiyoso Sub-district (Slump in Turus Beruk Village and Slump in Wukirsawit Village), 2) Tawangmangu Sub-district (Slump in Plumbon Village, Slump and Rockfall in Gondosuli Village, 3) Matesih Sub-district (Slump in Jenggotan Gantiwarno Village; Slump in Doblang Ngadiluwih Village), 4). Karangpandan Sub-district (Landslide in Bulurejo Karangpandan Village, Slump in Pakelan Gerdu Village), 5) Jumantono Sub-district (Slump in Genengan Village, Without Landslide in Sukosari Village). Early mitigation models include technical meetings with farmers (users / owners) to create guidelines and work programs, design mitigation designs, and mitigation technical determinations with the preparation of places, tools and materials
