Abstract
This paper analyzes the information seeking behavior of Sanskrit students of Sree Sankaracharya University, Kalady. It attempted to find out the frequency of use, preferred information location, purpose and method of information search, preferred information medium and resource, problems faced by the Sanskrit students while using the university library. Out of 410 Sanskrit students 205 were selected as samples and a questionnaire survey was conducted. 198 valid questionnaires were analyzed in the study and Frequency, Percentage, Mean Score and Total score were identified from the raw data.
