Abstract

There has been revealed the formation of substituted imino- and imidazopyridines by the one-pot, catalyst free three-component reaction of some benzylidenemalononitriles with malononitrile and various amines. Struc¬tu¬res of all synthesized compounds were confirmed by NMR and X-Ray spectroscopy.
