MODERN UNDERSTANDING OF RELIGIOUS IDENTIFICATION

The tools of modern identification of types of world perception with the internal structure of self-identification are analyzed. It is emphasized that in philosophy, theology, religious studies, sociology should not be limited to conducting only a denotative line of religious acceptance or denial. It is emphasized that concepts such as “conversion to Christianity”, “acceptance of faith”, “denial of faith” and adjacent ones should be understood in order to overcome the verbal level of identification and taking into account their depth and ambiguity. It is proved that such an approach will be able to redefine the potential of the dialogicity of interreligious discussion and the quality of the correlation of worldviews.
