Abstract
In this study, Bingöl University technical sciences vocational high school students were searched for the reasons and preferences of their departments. A total of 296 students were employed in six departments, including construction technology, computer technology, mechatronics, electronic communication, electricity and landscaping and ornamental plants, all of which are in the technical sciences. As a result of the work carried out, it was concluded that vocational high school students of the technical sciences had to pass to the undergraduate program which they were interested in, with the questions related to the department preferred, 60.81% as a percentile, and 46.96%
