Abstract
Staphylococcal infections still remain an actual problem of clinical medicine, including dermatology. In an era of intensive antibiotic treatment, the treatment of staphylococcal infections of the skin is not a problem, but the recurrent course of these diseases is problematic. The authors studied the carriage of staphylococci in the oral cavity in patients with staphyloderma before, during and after clinical recovery. It is proved that the precursor of the development of staphyloderma is a change in the staphylococcal flora of the oral cavity.
