СОЦІАЛЬНІ ДЕТЕРМІНАНТИ ЖИТТЄВИХ ОРІЄНТАЦІЙ МЕДИКІВ ОФТАЛЬМОЛОГІЧНОГО ПРОФІЛЮ

The article is devoted to the actual problem of studying the role that the personality of medic brings to the process of medical care. The life orientations of the junior and middle staff as well as the doctors were studied. The purpose of the article was to study the structure of social factors that influence the formation of life orientations of ophthalmological medics. 181 medics were researched, 99 of whom were representatives of junior and middle medical staff, and 82 - doctors. Using the nonlinear principal component analysis, the structure of social factors in both subsamples has been established. It is shown that the following differences are typical for the prerequisites of the leading life orientations of the medical staff of the various levels: for junior and middle staff such orientations are clearly determined by a number of social factors («Father's medical education », «Work experience in ophthalmology»), whereas for the subsample of doctors the contribution of social factors could be neglected.
