Involvement of Women SHG in Library Development Activities: A Study on Kanyakumari District

Every SHG must be a Puravalar of a public library. Every member of SHG must be a member of a public library. Reprography services i.e. Xerox copy in District and Branch Library through SHG will be made by local library authorities. For that purpose Govt. should give special assistance to the concerned SHG for purchasing Xerox machine and stationeries. If this area has more than one SHG, this system will be made through rotation basis. For cleaning and other related activities, this work will be entrusted to Women SHG. Library will conduct periodical meeting for uplift of their empowerment. Library may conduct extension service.Now this article generates new relationship of these two concepts.
