Abstract
The article presents results of research for quality catalogues of. Analyzed readers` answers regarding to they use card and electronic catalogs. Singly considered possibility to conservation of traditional and transition to electronic catalogue. This poll helped to determine the main trends in the understanding of the current state of the Library` search tools.
