Accounting of Library Collections the Context of Modern Normative Documents

The basic approaches to forming of indexes of library statistics, the questions of terminology and methods of their definition are considered. To increase the quality of library activities results evaluation, the proposals to improve the accounting indexes of library fund, and recommendations for harmonizing current library statistics formats and indexes of accounting with international standards are given. The proposals for further improvement of normative and methodological and practical developments in the domestic librarianship statistics on explanation and introduction of indicators of international standards are given.
