V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientifi c and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine in the System of Informationаl and Analytical Support of the Educational Branch

The features of the implementation of informational and analytical support of the education sector based on the experience of the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, as well as its course of formation were covered. The achievements and issues are examined, and ways of dealing with promising objectives of library information analytics were suggested. The attention of specialists in the field of scientific and informational activity of libraries of pedagogical profile is focused on the algorithm of the informational and analytical activity direction introduction, which should provide qualitative support of the education sciences and to the development of psychological and pedagogical theory and practice methodology. In particular, the process of identifying the priority directions and future objectives of the analytical unit of the scientific and educational library, its role and place in the organizational structure of the institution, its rights, responsibility and relations with other units was observed. A certain amount of attention is given to the analysis of the research-specific features of the new structural unit: the experience of developing an internal corporate normative base, the implementation of theoretical and methodological substantiation of research phase, the search, approbation and implementation of the up to-date methodologies and technologies for generating secondary documents of the educational information resource, improvement of the search engine, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the final scientific product and the use of achievements of information and communication technologies.
