Abstract
The article gives a chronological overview of foreign and Russian management literature on gender studies. Limiting herself mainly to publications in the flagship management journals, the author analyzes main trends in gender management, as well as changes in scientific thought, themes, and conclusions that both foreign and Russian researchers make. The paper highlights the interdisciplinary nature of gender studies and traces how they have become more objective and less biased due to focusing on a wider range of topics and issues.
