VARIATION OF THE GENDER AND THE WORD-FORMATION MOTIVATION OF THE FORING-LANGUAGE LINGUISTIC BORROWINGS

The article elaborates on grammatical variation in the development of new foreign language borrowings. Existence of variability of noun gender is identified on the basis of modern dictionaries and the National Corpus of the Russian Language, which shows the use of neologisms in usage. Analysis of semantics and syntagmatics of language units allows defining the reasons and the direction of dynamic processes. Identification of derivation is controversial due to the variation of a different type, namely due to the motivation of derivative agentives.
