LINGUISTIC STATUS OF PROFESSIONAL SUBLANGUAGE

Abstract
In the common space of the polyfunctional nationwide language the special functional variety of areas of professional intercommunication that is sublanguage is isolated. Being a form of the character representation of scientific knowledge, the professional sublanguage is discussed as "the second order" language, i.e. the language which speaks about
the language-object; the language, the object of which is the content and expression of other language. The majority of authors put the "functional language" term as description language with the ?language for specific purposes", representing communication in each of special spheres. In teaching practice of languages the special language definition occurs as a synonym of the "specialty language" and "profession language" terms. In the course of its development it is transformed consciously by the subject. Mediating and improving the process of scientific intercourse, the professional sublanguage promotes the development of learning and enriching the scientific worldview. The main sublanguage function is precisely to express special concept and promote effective communication in he occupational area of knowledge and professional activities.
